E50 Environmental Assessment, Risk Management and Corrective Action Workshop on Sediment Corrective Action

The ASTM 2018 October Committee Week is being held at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC from Monday, October 22, 2018 to Thursday, October 25, 2018. The committee week schedule is now posted on the ASTM website and registration for this free event is now available! An optional Activity Fee of $25 is requested by Committee E50 to help support and promote the production of standards and participation in ASTM. This includes, committee week socials, networking events, committee awards, training, critical travel, and educational events.

ASTM Committee E50 on Environmental Assessment, Risk Management and Corrective Action will be sponsoring a Workshop on Sediment Corrective Action during the October 2018 Committee Week on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, from 8:00am to noon at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC. This workshop will examine how a unified approach for addressing contaminated sediment sites can improve guidance and consistency in areas such as risk assessment, analytical methods and techniques, corrective action objective development, and monitoring plan development and implementation.
