WE’RE HIRING! Professional Geologist – Full Time

Brownfield Science & Technology, Inc. (BSTI), an environmental consulting and remediation firm serving the Mid-Atlantic Region, is seeking an experienced Professional Geologist (P.G.) with a minimum five years experience in the Oil and Gas industry to join our team in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate should have experience with linear projects, HDD bores, E&S inspection, PA Chapter 102 and 105 permitting, PADEP ESCGP-2, USDA soil classification, geohazard and sinkhole projects.

The selected candidate will support our clients by providing in-field environmental compliance oversight of pipeline installations across Pennsylvania. Keys to success are an ability to work alongside other pipeline installation personnel, attention to detail and a positive demeanor. This position will require the ability to perform in an outdoor work environment year-round with extended overnight travel. This position will also require the ability to work on nights and weekends at times.
The selected candidate can be retained as either a full-time BSTI employee (with benefits) or as an independent contractor. Because our project sites are in multiple locations across Pennsylvania, the selected candidate can work from a home location (ideally western Pennsylvania).

Minimum Requirements:
• Must have or be able to obtain a Professional Geologist license in Pennsylvania.
• Possess basic computer skills and be MS Office functional.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, be drug-free and no criminal record.
• Be physically fit and able to work outdoors in challenging terrain.
• OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour certification
