This study discusses the theory, data and observations pertaining to the application of ozone in conjunction with air sparging/soil vapor extraction (AS/SVE) technology, specifically how to evaluate if ozone could increase the in-situ extraction, degradation and/or destruction of dissolved phase MTBE contamination.
